Coconut husk fiber or cocomoss is a natural and renewable solution to assist with liquid drainage and aeration of your active grub pile. Supplying almost 200 square feet of matted coconut fiber (roll measures 66 feet in length), it is a cost-effective alternative to purchasing circular disks of pressed coir at your local hardware store. Each coir roll can produce up to 22, 36” mesh drainage pads for your ProtaPod Grub Composting System. May also be used in container gardening, as window box liners and for making DIY hanging baskets. Easily cuts to any shape required with standard utility sheers. Many useful applications for around the homestead. Affordably priced at only 84 cents per square foot.

To assist with aeration and constant drainage of your active black soldier fly colony, use renewable coir mesh pads as the dividing material between the liquid catchment area and composting section. Each roll will make 22, 36” diameter pads for your large ProtaPod. Use several stacked together for more impressive results. Ideal for usage in most DIY BSFL pods. Biodegradable fibers can be added to compost pile or vermiculture system and the end of the season – producing no waste.
